What we collect

Ruin collects only the data needed to operate its features. This includes:

• Discord user IDs, server IDs, and channel IDs
• Message content where explicitly required by a command (e.g. automod rules, reminders)
• Configuration data you set up in your server (prefix, role assignments, logging channels)

We do not collect passwords, email addresses, or any data outside of Discord.

How we use it

Data is used solely to provide Ruin's functionality — moderation tools, logging, social features, and server configuration. We do not sell, share, or monetize your data in any way.

Data retention

Server configuration data is stored as long as Ruin is in your server. When you remove Ruin, your server's data is deleted within 30 days. You can request immediate deletion by contacting us.

Third parties

Ruin does not share data with third parties. Some optional features (like Last.fm integration) may interact with external services, but only with data you explicitly provide.

Your rights

You can request to view or delete any data we hold about you or your server at any time by reaching out via our support server.
